Welcome to Dry Creek Hideaways!
We are approximately 11 miles from Chattanooga, TN. We are rurally located, but close to many dining establishments, movie theatre, bowling alley, supermarkets and golf courses. While it is nice being close to everything, it is always pleasant when you come in after a busy day to a peaceful sanctuary and this is what you'll find taking a short piece down a private drive to a gated entrance that opens up to two homes on almost 4 acres that are nestled between the trees.
A COUPLES RETREAT
A perfect getaway for two. Each rental has its own patio and/or deck with outdoor furniture. In the common area, there are picnic tables, a park grill, swing and a firepit with wood supplied. There are corn hole boards and bags available upon request. We do live on the property and there is a 10' x 20' movie screen with drive-in movie speakers. On occasion we do show movies and guests are free to join at no charge. If you have your own projector that has sound, you are more than welcome to use the movie screen. We have a table or tripod available for use upon request.
Meet our babies: Boudreaux, aka Boo is the big white one and the smaller black/white is his big sister, Abbee D. (big sister only because she is older) and she does rule over him. We enjoy their goofiness and take our dogs on almost every vacation so wanted to provide a place so that people could share their vacation with their pets. The entire property is fenced, but there is a dedicated fenced area for the dogs of our guests to enjoy. We do request that you keep your dogs on a leash when walking property as there are cars coming in and out of the driveway and there could be some small openings that we are not aware of.
You're more than welcome to explore the property. There is an outhouse and old claw foot tub that is for decorative purposes only... and the ladies say, "Thank God," lol. We have a little 24 x 24 house with a blue tin roof that has a cupola made of a mishmash of windows. We just call it the glass house; it can be seen in the aerial view behind the main house. It originally had water gardens in it when we purchased the property, and we plan to turn it to a little studio for painting, arts and crafts and the like and hope to incorporate those types of activities for our Guests when they book in the future.
