The Ole Pole Barn was exactly as described! Peaceful and relaxing, didn’t even feel like you were staying on some one’s property. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. April and Robert made it feel like how I treat my family when they come for a visit! Close to everything we wanted to do. Definitely want to visit again and have already told my friends and family about it! Everything from booking to checking in and out was made easier with their communication.

Our eight day stay at the Old Pole Barn was SO wonderful, it’s hard to find all the right words to describe it. You’d be hard pressed to find a “neater”, “kooler”, greater, etc place to stay In Chattanooga, especially if you’d like to feel you are in the country - but yet the city is only minutes away. And, our hosts were the absolute “Best of the Best” of any we’ve had in 48 years of travel. We hope we will always be able to stay at The Ole Pole Barn when we come to Chattanooga.

Enjoyed the amazing hospitality and looking forward to staying here again. Robert and April were great hosts, and we enjoyed the relaxing and quiet time on the porch. This little gem is just far enough from Chattanooga allowing us to enjoy the city life and attractions of Chattanooga, while offering a cozy getaway for some much needed relaxation.

We just fell in love with this cabin. It’s so welcoming and cozy with great amenities. We love that it was very private and tucked away while still being close to all Chattanooga happenings. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have stayed at several vrbos over the years - but we have NEVER stayed in one that made us feel so much like we were already home! It was definitely the cleanest vrbo - and had everything we could possibly need for our stay - already in the home. I was so relaxed there - the bed was even MORE comfortable than our bed at home! We met the property owner - and it was like we had known him all our lives. He and his wife have a beautiful home - it's just like a little slice of heaven. I wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever visit that area again - we will definitely stay there if its available. Thank you so much for giving us such a warm welcome and sharing your home with us. :)

What a gem! We were in Tennessee to visit a couple of amazing state parks. This property was a perfect spot to stay. We were about an hour from both Savage Gulf and Fall Creek Falls State Park. After adventuring we went into Chattanooga for dinner. The Ole Pole Barn has everything you need for comfort, and it's super clean. We will be back!!

My wife and I, spent the week of Christmas at the Pole Barn and it was exactly what we needed. Pet friendly, private, quiet and the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We cannot wait for an opportunity to go back.

This cabin was perfect. Cleanest cabin with everything well planned. They thought of everything you would need to be away from home. They even surprised us with a bottle of wine for my wife’s birthday . Owner was very friendly. Highly recommend.

We thought the online pics were gorgeous but WOW when we drove up to the pole barn and opened the door! SO beautiful!! Very private and quiet. Robert was so nice and had great info for things to do. Don't miss this hidden gem!

Place was just as described. Clean, comfortable, stocked with utensils for cooking. Cook books and things you might need.(flashlights, dog bowls, games, movies). Great for relaxing after a day out exploring the area. Rock City, Ruby Falls and Chattanooga a short drive away. Minutes from a Target and Walmart. Very quiet area. Loved our stay, will definitely book here again.

Quiet and comfortable, well maintained and very clean. The owners thoughtfully provided balloons and a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our anniversary. The property, while secluded, is still close to restaurants and shopping. There is also a very nice dog park nearby

The Ole Pole Barn was absolutely exceptional. Immaculately clean, well-stocked, super-comfortable bed, very pet friendly, friendly hosts. There was absolutely nothing I would change about this property. There were so many details that the hosts provided that we might have taken for granted had we not travelled to another location the next day and realized how much we missed the Ole Pole Barn. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and was very organized and clean. We wanted for nothing. Loved the bowl of fresh fruit too! The bed was more comfortable than our sleepnumber bed at home. There were 2 outdoor spaces for relaxing which were perfect. We also had perfect weather, so we loved sitting on the deck under the beautiful acorn tree. The property was lovely and had a fenced area for our dogs to roam off leash. The hosts provided 3 separate areas for pet waste/poo bags and these were solar lit, so no fumbling around at night if you left a poo bag in the house. The hosts live on the property and said hello and chatted, but were never intrusive. We will definitely be back when we visit family in Chattanooga!

Exactly what we were looking for! Quiet, serene place at the end of a dead end street. Short gravel road, but gave us no problem. The converted pole barn was a beautiful retreat with a mix of the old and new. Updated kitchen and bath with a cottage feel. The shutter wall and beautiful room screen gave plenty of privacy for the King size bed. Perfect place for a couple. Basic necessities were provided as well as a welcome bowl of fruits! The glass window building was a beautiful sanctuary where they are teaching art classes. And there is an outdoor movie screen complete with speakers and a fire pit! We got to sit down with our hosts and talk about classic cars and really enjoyed our stay. Shopping, antique stores, sight seeing and many activities nearby. If you like to sleep late, I would recommend a sleep mask due to light from the upper window, but we are early risers and it was no problem for us. Highly recommend The Ole Pole Barn.

We love the ole pole barn. Great location lots of things to do. food restaurants and hiking trails near by Ruby falls,Chattanooga aquarium and Market Street within 15 miles April and Robert are amazing people! Very well kept place! We are definitely coming back!

This was the perfect little cabin for our weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary. It had loads of country charm and was very cozy. Robert and April are a lovely couple. They were so friendly and kind. They even had a bottle of wine and a anniversay balloon with a basket of fresh fruit waiting on us when we arrived. To top it off our dog Koda loved the trip as well. He enjoyed the wooded lot with plenty of places to walk and sniff. We would definitely recommend this charming cabin to couples looking for a bit of peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. There's also nearby golf and lookout mountain is a good place to sight see. We would like to visit the Old Pole Barn again.

This lovely private retreat was exactly what we were looking for, very peaceful and secure. The hosts were very hospitable and the shed was warm, rustic, and inviting. It is a very welcoming space with everything you need. Absolutely perfect for a private getaway for 2! We highly recommend this wonderful space! We will plan to come here again in the future.

Gorgeous property and if you are into bird watching you can spend hours on the spacious porch. Pole barn was exactly as pictured in the photos...immaculately clean and thoughtfully appointed with extra conveniences tucked into every space. Rob and April are the nicest people you will ever meet and we enjoyed visiting with them. Ole Pole Barn will now be our "go to" every time we travel to Chattanooga!

We were so surprised and appreciative the hosts presented us with an anniversary balloon and bottle of wine that was enjoyed. The location of the cottage is about 15 minutes from downtown and also close to shopping mall and lots of restaurants. Enjoyed sitting on the patio and talking with the host. Wasn't able to enjoy the outdoor theater this trip but looks to be a fun treat. Highly recommend this location.

This cabin is absolutely amazing! It was perfect for our last-minute weekend getaway. The location was great - not too far from things to do, but tucked enough out of the way that we had zero "foot traffic" so to speak. It was beautifully decorated and sat on a gorgeous piece of property. We will definitely stay here again!

The stay was very nice. We were in close proximity to restaurants, little ice cream shop down the road, and within 20 minutes to the tourist attractions. The town of Hixson is literally 5-10 min. down the highway, complete with Target, Walmart and any other shops/restaurants you could be looking for. Neighborhood is quiet, except for the occasional barking dog (s). We had a thunderstorm while there and if you like rain on a tin roof, you will love it. The place was clean, and good for our dog. My only wish would be having the potty place closer to the actual rental instead of next to the main house. Owners are on property, but respect your privacy. Very nice to talk to also. Would highly recommend for location, and cleanliness :)

Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry that the fenced area was further away from the pole barn than you had anticipated. We do have another doggy station with bags and a garbage can closer to the barn, but maybe not in a most convenient location. Since you have made us aware, we're considering moving it to an area so that that the doggie bags and garbage can be reached more quickly when you come out (when a baby's gotta go, a baby's gotta go, lol). We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and it was certainly our pleasure to host you while you visited the area!

We were only in town for a few days, but could have stayed much longer to keep enjoying this peaceful, and comfortable cabin. Every convenience of home and a nice, quiet location that seems like you are waaaayyyy out, yet it's only minutes from restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. When you get back from your day of fun this cabin and it's charming landscaping and lighting welcomes you home to clean and cozy furnishings, fast internet, nice televisions, and a great memory foam king bed. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Chattanooga.

When searching for a pet friendly place, you instantly lose the pretty sites, cozy spots. Not with this place. It was beautiful! Private feeling, cozy. And as soon as you walk up, a welcome mat with paw prints! Waste management areas, fenced in yard(s) If you have a well behaved pup you are trying to travel with, this place will make you all feel at home. Very close to shopping and all you’re needs

Cozy, clean and neat. Everything we needed was accessible to us. If we had not been on the hunt for property areas.. we could have spent all day just set up posted relaxing. We will definitely stay again when we come back to sign on a house and again when we move down and need a night without kids.

Wonderful property! My partner, our two dogs, and I loved our stay. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Quiet and secluded but a short drive to nearly everything you could want. Robert and April couldn’t have been nicer! There was certainly no detail overlooked. We would love to return!
